All that labor and hard work only to end up with poor wood split action, drenched in sweat, and an aching back. Dr 6.2 hp 12 second cycle. I have never used a dr splitter but i found these videos of a guy putting his. Like all dr equipment, it’s also designed for durability.

That’s the difference between a bad log splitter. Having done that, however, i don’t recommend it. Split horizontally or vertically engine:
Best bang for the buck: For the money it does what it is rated for and then some! It started on the second pull and ran great.

Dr does seem to have a pretty slow cycle time. Some not so positive reviews online on the dr k10 flywheel reliability. I went from 2 gas splitters to a dr 10 ton electric ( now discontinued) 11 years ago.
